The MolmoAct 2 Research Kit is the fastest path from zero to a running bimanual manipulation setup. Built around Ai2's MolmoAct 2 — the open robotics foundation model that achieves 87% zero-shot success on real-world tasks and outperforms Physical Intelligence's π0.5 across every evaluated manipulation benchmark — this kit gives you everything you need to start collecting data or deploying policies on day one.

The bundle ships with two YAM Standard arms, the same platform used in Ai2's own MolmoAct 2 evaluations and the MolmoAct 2-Bimanual YAM dataset — the largest open-source bimanual robotics dataset ever published. An Intel RealSense D435 provides wide-angle overhead coverage of the workspace, while two RealSense D405 cameras deliver close-range, high-accuracy depth for precise manipulation tasks. The 80cm 2060 aluminum extrusion profile and extendable camera desk mount let you dial in camera positioning without custom fabrication, and two extra-large G-clamps lock the entire rig to any standard workbench in minutes.

Everything is sized and positioned to match Ai2's published reference hardware configuration, so MolmoAct 2 runs out of the box without camera calibration guesswork or hardware adaptation overhead.
